Watershed Cleanup

Details:  Please wear good footwear, long pants, garden/work gloves if you have them, and clothing for the weather.  Saturday is supposed to be sunny and 20 c.  Bring your favourite drink in your refillable bottle. I We have safety vests for all students. We have "pickers" so you don't have to bend down too much.  Safety first, so don't take any risks, and leave any garbage that is too risky to get at.  Don't touch any needles or broken glass, and let the Rotarian handle that.

 

Plan:  2 groups to clean up north of George's, and one group south working in teams to collect garbage along the canal. Each group will walk back to George's so we are all back by noon.

 

Lunch: Rotary will cover the cost for any students' lunches. Please email ctoppari1@cogeco.ca if you plan on attending lunch at George's Greek Restaurant
