Cathy- her granddaughter, Sofia Renee, turned 13 on the week-end. Glad that the Stanley Cup is finally over
Bob- happy to meet the Rotary medalists from Sir Winston- his old Alma Mater
Roseanne- enjoyed the Rotary Leadership courses and graduated- presented with a certiicate, She encourages everyone to attend these courses- they are well worth it
Najeeb- happy about Rory McIlroy winning the US Open
John Teibert- his son Scott, graduated from Niagara College and is working with the Bridge commission
Dan – is now in training for TourDuLac
Arie- passed around a card for Kris
Rob Welch- this is his most favourite meeting when the Rotary Medalists are introduced

Bingo Update Volunteers- Beth needs 3 volunteers for Saturday-
Bob offered, Dan is a maybe. Beth will pass around sign up sheets up until the end pf December. She has requested that everyone take a shift
June 19-25 – RYLA
The Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) program is being held the 19th-25th of June, 2011 at SUNY Fredonia, New York.
There will be a semi-formal dinner at the Cranston Marche (above Star Bucks), University Commons, on the evening of Thursday June 23rd, 2011 to celebrate the successful graduation of another group of RYLArians.
We would like you to enjoy the evening and meet with the candidates, now graduated RYLArians at this dinner. The dinner is open to friends and relatives alike. Reception and fellowship will be at 6pm, welcome at 6:15pm and dinner at 6:30pm.
Rotary Clubs that are within the vicinity of SUNY might like to attend the dinner in place of or in addition to their weekly club meeting.
Tickets are $44.00US and $44.00CAN and a dinner reservation can be obtained by contacting Jen Middleton: middleton.jen@hotmail.com.

Sheila announced the Fireside at her home on June 28th- all members are welcome especially the newer members- a great way to learn more about Rotary

As each school awardee spoke about their school mate- it was readily apparent why these young people were honoured. Each was eloquent, accomplished in his or her personal, school and community life and showed that the future of our society is in good hands.
