ANNOUNCEMENTS:
It is with great pleasure we announce the name of our newest member- Monika Ovsonko- this is the first of three announcements- in keeping with our by-laws.
The induction of our three newest members will be held at our Club Assembly on Monday, March 24th.
The Rotary Club of Lakeshore annual Trivia night was on Saturday, Feb 15th- Team South - Teibert,Henry,Garneau,Dominick,Gionet upheld our club honour.
Finishing with 76%.A great time- 51 tables,lots of laughs, lots of “of course”!!!
Our application for the annual District Presidential Citation has been sent to DG Kevin Crouse- we have qualified for it “With distinction” – it will be presented to us on June 22, 2014 in Buffalo.
Matt Taylor- request for Guatemala
Matt and Georgette will be making their final trip to Guatemala next month and have requested assistance to the dental clinic there. As we had kept back $740.00 from the International Committee- it was felt by your BOArd that $500.00 be donated to this clinic.
Bingo- John Teibert Last one Jean, Matt & Georgette as well as Arie and Jeff ran it. Next is Mar 1 5:30, need volunteers
Mike Gionet announced that we are looking for prized and donors for the Car Rally. Please meet with your friends/contacts/colleagues to get items. We are looking for at least three prizes from each Rotarian.

Arie cannot be with us today as he is on a very important conference call regarding his Over 60 Volunteer Awards-in partnership with two other people- the awards are being taken right across Canada=Calgary ,Edmonton ,Newmarket and Niagara- it is so wonderful to see one of our own come up with a new idea and have it accepted country wide- congratulations Arie
Rotary Leadership Institute Registrations are still available for March 8th and March 29th. If anyone Is interested in attending one of these informative sessions- please let me know and I’ll forward the relevant information to you.
