A Christmas Celebration!
Santa's elves - Kris Akilie, Laura, Tiana and Zan Dominick and Cathy Henry welcomed everyone to our Christmas luncheon.
John Teibert started the festivities and asked Rob Welch to say the grace.
Cathy thanked June Manning and her committee for arranging the luncheon, Sheila Bristo who donated the lovely poinsettias and Coady Thompson and Golf Club staff who provided a wonderful turkey buffet with all the trimmings.
Music by JAQ - a wonderful quartet that were back by popular demand from last year.
After dining, with the sound of jingle bells, Santa-visited at 1 PM for the wee ones. From the looks of wonder, excitement and fear, the little ones all received presents from Santa who then got on his sleigh to spread Christmas cheer to other children around the city.
No happy dollars-
50/50 draw - no winner but 6 draws made for a number of the poinsettia centre pieces.
The elves then sang some wonderful Christmas carols to continue the holiday spirit and wished everyone a very Merry Christmas and a peaceful, happy and healthy New Year.
Cathy reminded everyone that there will be no meetings on December 23rd or 30th.
The Christmas open house is on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at David and Cathy's home - all are welcome.
Happy New year to all!
