The Rotary Club of St. Catharines South is thrilled to announce a $2,500 donation to Eden High School, helping to fund a once-in-a-lifetime educational trip to Montreal. Eight students from Eden will be attending a prestigious UN Model conference, where they will step into the shoes of real-world diplomats, acting as delegates to discuss and tackle global issues ranging from international security to human rights.
This experience will provide students with a deep understanding of world affairs, diplomacy, and collaborative problem-solving—skills that are critical for fostering the next generation of leaders. The students will engage in debates and resolutions, just like actual UN delegates, providing a unique platform to expand their worldviews and grow their potential.
In a recent cheque presentation ceremony, Club President John Teibert, along with members Yusuf, Morgan, and Jeff Thomas, handed over the donation to Sebastian Habjan, representing Eden High School.
We are proud to support the development of young minds in our community, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact these students will make on the world stage!
